We love the contrasting cabinet colors. The sinks faucet pendant lights and backsplash accent the stainless steel appliances beautifully. I couldn't change the footprint of the kitchen or the height of the ceiling but I made the most of what I had to work with. I now have a pantry glass doors an appliance garage granite counters and professional appliances including my two drawer Fisher Paykel dishwasher in the island.

This is our new AUTHENTIC Tuscan Farm house we just built. My husband and I tore out everything in this dirty, dated, dilapidated kitchen. We ripped up the floor, knocked down a wall and exposed brick in order to bring this place back to life.
I designed the new space with an island jam packed with function and storage and areas dedicated to cooking, clean up and cocktails.
We love to entertain and this kitchen is a fun place to do it!

This kitchen is in the house I am buying. The house was built in 1962 and I don't think it has been updated since. I love the layout of the kitchen, the height of the counters, the height and storage space of the cabinets, the corner sink and the counter space. I am planning on painting the cabinets white and replacing the counter tops, but I need some ideas for the backsplash and area above the cabinets. My style is a little on the country, rustic side, so any ideas that are simple and cheap would be great. I do love red. Thanks for any input.
