Warm and cozy basement, Hope this area is coming along as well I as think it is. It has gone from totally empty 2 weeks ago to this...., Basements Design
Help with basement landing area, I have a great space in my basement that is completely finished. About 1800 sq. ft. For the 3 years we have lived here, it only served as a storage space and a cat den. My husband is in Korea and I want to furnish this for him as a surprise when he comes back in June 2013. Ultimately he wants to deck it out as a theater, but in the meantime, it is a great space. I have the larger area as the entertainment area(tv, music etc). But I have this great landing space that I am stuck trying to furnish. Thinking about two couches facing each other with nice tables and other decorations. Though about a pool table. As you can see, I bought a couple of painting to get me started. These flow with the color pallet and style of other area I am already working on. Keeping the colors warm with brown and greens with hints of ox blood. What can I do with this landing area. This will be my husbands area so I don't want it to look like an extension of me and the rest of the house.. , Basements Design
Coca Cola Basement , We have been collecting for over 20 years focusing on bottles. We tried to used as much recycled building products we could find. We now have 4,000+ bottles. Even though much of the basement is near completion there is still plenty to do, it's finding the time to do it. I also joke about my tattoo which is a "coke bottle" that I'll be able to take my love of Coca Cola to my grave! Hope you all enjoy my basement at Christmas 2012. The house was built in 1904 craftsman style weird fact my house has 14 exterior basement windows. Who ever built my house wanted a lit up bright basement. Modern Sports Bar/Gameroom, We turned our 2 room basement into a spectacular, roomy, sports bar/mancave/family room/entertaining area. Of course we are Pittsburgh Sports fans all the way! My husband is an amazing DIY'er, Basements Design
