Basement bar makeover, Little by little we are redoing every room in our "Sanford and Sons" home. This is part of the basement we are still working on and making into a bar and kitchenette. , Basements Design
Basement Apartment Needs Help, I have appox a 1000 sq. foot basement that has 2 bedrooms, a full bath, living area/dining area,kitchen(although its empty) and a laundry space. It has been basically empty since we bought our house 10 yrs ago other then our son sleeping down there when he lived with us, he has just bought his own home now and we have our daughter who lives with us,with her 2 children, a 1 yr old and a 4 yr. old, little girls, But it is getting very crowded upstairs, we'd love to make the basement into an apartment for her and her children. It doesnt need much, just someone that knows what their doing on a low budget (lol) we would also need some kind of a 2nd exit in case of an emergency for them if they were to move down there and have no idea how we'd do that. It would be so Great to have them still close by, but Not Quite So Close. :) Please Help!! , Basements Design
