When we bought the house it became clear to us the previous owners had no idea what they were doing. Everything they had done to try to increase the value of the house was done cheaply and poorly. This is the bathroom, wish we would have taken a before picture. They had cheap plastic wainscoting that we replaced with board and baton directly on the drywall ( well green board for bathroom. My favorite was the tile in the bathroom, only $5 for a 1 foot square at HD!!
