Jerusalem gold tumbled marble 12x12 floor tiles set on the diagonal, oil-rubbed bronze wall mounted fixtures, rustic stacked stone, and dark mahogany cabinetry combined gave me the modern Italian/Spanish vibe I was going for. I fell in love with this rustic mosaic stone tile, but it was so expensive, I used a little for the back splash. White top mounted vessel sinks give a nod to old-fashioned nightstand wash bowls.
Kept costs down by ordering the basins and fixtures at online outlets, mirrors and hardware at closeout, and pendants from big-box stores. My awesome man did all the tile work.
