I think you did a wonderful job. You added just enough fun for the kids but at the same time as they grow up you can change things very easy. Great job. Two lucky children to have a great bathroom to have in taking baths! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Thank you...for posting this space. We are doing a complete remodel of our kids bathroom. We also have a son (14 and daughter (12. I like everything but the mirror. I am going with a frameless one. Great job!

Nice job, but definitely need a few added touches. You mentioned the bathroom is for your daughter and son, but I am only seeing one set of towels. The shower curtain needs to be more colorful and much, much longer. The mirror above the sink is way too modern looking. As the kids grow and get older it is easy to change the theme of the bathroom with accessories and a new shower curtain. Colorful rugs on the floor to go with the new shower curtain and a framed kids picture on the wall over the toilet would liven up the place. A few inexpensive items and the bathroom will be just great for the kids. A bathroom that the kids will love to take their baths in.

Very nice and when the kids get older it will be so easy to change the kid accessories without having to spend a lot of money!! I agree it doesn't need to scream "kid bath" Very tasteful.

Lovely tub surround. I think you have just enough touches for a child. Not overdone like some do. Why do bathrooms for children have to be so overstimulating anyway??? My kids would have loved this room.... Love the flooring also.

I would do exactly what you have done. I've always wanted solid granite walls for the shower. I hate grout lines.
I understand why you didn't make it child-like like maybe hippeihop would've liked. I'm thinking it is also a bathroom that company may also use, or maybe your kids are actually older. Regardless people need to consider the circumstances before criticising. I love the bowed shower curtain.
The whole bathroom is understated elegance.

1. I think it is a very pretty bathroom, but it doesn't look like a kid's bathroom.
2. I think if you switched the shower curtain with one that is a color that is in the animals, that would help. (and the shower curtain should go almost to the floor. those curtain holders look out of place as it is now.
3. Maybe add a colorful box or basket to put on the countertop and fill with stuff (washcloths, lotions, etc.. 4. Also, the mirror looks too sophisticated for a child's bathroom.

My kids bathroom is set up the same way. We are on Spring Break and I wanted to redo there bath. You've done a great job.
