Since our home was built in 2007, we did not need to renovate the entire room. We felt we could achieve the look we wanted by simply renovating the shower & making minor cosmetic changes. We did it all ourselves & on a budget!
You can check out our blog: duoventures.blogspot.com to see more details on the renovation!
Here's a quick rundown of what we did:
-we removed existing shower stall & expanded about 10 inches
-removed part of the dividing wall between the shower & tub
-tiled the entire shower with travertine subway tiles
-had a frame-less glass door & panel installed
-changed out light fixtures & faucets
-framed existing mirror above the vanity
-painted & added some DIY art
