Updated our masterbath. No change in footprint, but removed all and put in new fixtures, shower and tub, floor. Decided against a tile shower and tub surround-- tired of grout and mold. Went with stone composite mix that came in slabs. The floor is one piece. Hopefully, no more mold and no leaks! The stone is called "SantaMargherita" and also known as Verona. The website is http://vmcstone.com/ Click on homeowner and then Santamargherita. I first saw it at Cabinet discounters (do you have one in your area? There is only one company here in the dc area that supplies and installs it-Eurostone in Virginia. It is installed like kitchen cabinet tops-- granite. Build the foundation (no concrete floor is required, walls and structure and then they come and template the surfaces to be covered. I don't have any info on the longevity, etc., but it it is similar to quartz. It comes in several different colors. The vanity is the Hudson series (without the top from Restoration hardware. I got a great sale price. Tub is a standard soaking tub by Kohler.
I was on a pretty tight budget and so had to limit myself on tub and faucet choices! The Hansgrohe faucets were purchased online through Home and Stone (love this store! Lights were through Amazon/Wayfair. I paid about 1/2 the price for the faucets through H&S than if I had purchased them through a local showroom. Same with the lights. Mirrors are from Home Depot online (about $100 ea. - hope this info helps!
