This 1962 bath was a mess of pink and tan tile with pink butterfly stickers in the tub, a bulky medicine cabinet with doors that either stuck or threatened to fall off, cheap laminate countertop and a lot of mildewed water damage from a leaky shower in a second bathroom that backed up to it. With only $500 in materials, and creative repurposing of accessories from elsewhere in the house, this guest bath radiates a warm, old world attitude that welcomes any traveler.
