The upstairs bath was a dark, closet size room that screamed ugly and the illusion of horse size bugs. Even the window had failed. Today it is bright, safe, clean, and beautiful!
Neo angle shower kit and sink vanity (complete with faucets came from Lowes. Total cost was about $700. Engineered flooring was as $1.50 foot and the. Kohler energy efficient toilet $185 both came from Home Depot. 36" sliding paned window was $130. Levelor blinds $25.
Plastic glue/staple ceiling 2'x2' square tiles Van Dykes (online at $17 each. I needed the plastic because of a low ceiling. However, real tin 2'x2' can be found online for $6.50-$7 each.
Hope you like it and are inspired to do better.
