How do you tile a large space to make it warm and visually enticing? Our palette was Caribbean Sunrise for the main paint color with Rosa Grigio marble tile. We incorporated individually subtle, but complementary niches, decorative shadow boxes plus glass mosaic inserts in both the shower and on the bathroom floor. So the space - over 336 sq feet of natural stone in the room - did not appear overwhelming or boring, we mixed up the wall design with solid tiles combined with a marble mosaic midsection, soothing stone pebble floor and unique lighting. With much tweaking along the way, here is our finished product! Note: We did all of the work ourselves with the help of our kids, utilized Home Depot tile and materials, clearance sale fixtures plus Craig's List finds and completed this entire room for under $5,000 - from studs to fixtures!
