Older jet tub (not used much) and fiberglass shower which cut into the bedroom closet. Removed both - got a a huge new tiled shower with bench and a large closet with hanging system. Kept shades neutral and relaxing.

A small narrow (ugly) bathroom becomes "twice" as large with a narrower wall mounted vanity, and a seamless mirror above the tile work AND completely below (including behind the toilet!). To add a bit more storage, we had the wall mirror cut out for a recessed medicine cabinet plus the lower mirror also had to be cut out for the vanity. I could only find one mirror/glass company who would even take on the job of cutting the glass - it was the one big splurge in the bathroom and I am so thrilled I stuck to my guns (no seams!). Under cabinet mounted color changing LED lights add the cool kid factor to the space in addition to the chunky iridescent green accent tile chosen for the vanity and tub. A second piece of bullnose tile trim (cut by my tile guy) lays on top of the basic 4x6 tile to fill the space between the 4x6 tiles and the almost one inch thick green accent tiles. A translucent window blind is all the window treatment needed!
We bought a house that was over 30 years old and had never been updated. The guest bathroom was the first bathroom to be updated. The tub/shower combination was in great shape with a classic look in white. It had sliding glass doors. We decided to leave the shower for now, but did remove the shower doors and put up a shower curtain instead. We pulled out the vanity and toilet as well as the flooring. We installed ceramic tile and painted first. Then we installed a Koehler low flow toilet. Next came a new vanity in a light cherry wood. We added a Corian countertop and marble vessel sink. Here are our before and after pictures.
