Not a bathroom anymore, Had been a bathroom not worthy of updating. It now serves as a laundry storage and make/up get ready space in the morning place. We added the stairs for access to the attic office., Bathrooms Design
The kids' bathroom, A work in progress. I started on it on the last weekend in March. I'm moving the back wall 3 feet to allow for a larger master bath. My son thought of the tile pattern., Bathrooms Design
Budget Dramatic Remodel, My husband and I wanted to remodel our blan white bathroom to a spa retreat. We replaced the tub and installed beige travertine and black granite tile on the walls and ceiling. We use the same tile on the sink counter added a black vessel sink and used a waterfall faucet. We replaced the carpet with 18" tile. We added recessed lighting. It took two months of weekends and we did it for about $2000., Bathrooms Design
Guest-Worthy Powderroom, For under $1000 we updated and jazzed up the powderroom. We added 6' high beadboard wainscoting and I did a rich chocolate (yummy!) venetian plaster wall treatment above the wainscot. I switched out the builder grade mirror and fixtures and replaced everything with oil-rubbed bronze fixtures. I made the window treatment with rich brown silk and a coordinating print. , Bathrooms Design
Elegant Bath, Lots of impact in a small bathroom. The marble and stone tile emphasize the height of the ceiling (which we elevated when we gutted the old bathroom) and makes the space feel larger. I like the clean and classy look of the bathroom now., Bathrooms Design
New Bathroom, This room was remodeled for under $2000 - I replaced the floor vessel sink vanity faucets and towel racks and painted the room. I also replaced the door door hardware and base trim. Wall color is Lennox Tan by Benjamin Moore. Porcelain tiles from Lowe's cost 78 cents per square foot and look beautiful. Vanity and towel rack were purchased on eBay brand new for $500., Bathrooms Design
