DIY Family Bathroom Overhaul , When we bought our 1959 ranch the small main bathroom was in serious need for an overhaul. We managed to completely gut it and redo it for under $4000... including all new plumbing electrical and drywall. (Thanks to some fantastic deals on materials and free labor). It still needs some finishing touches but we love it. Materials used- solid maple vanities slate quartzite tile on floor and countertops ceramic and slate tile shower enclosure and stainless steel /brushed nickle fixtures., Bathrooms Design
