When we bought our 1959 ranch the small main bathroom was in serious need for an overhaul. We managed to completely gut it and redo it for under $4000... including all new plumbing electrical and drywall. (Thanks to some fantastic deals on materials and free labor). It still needs some finishing touches but we love it. Materials used- solid maple vanities slate quartzite tile on floor and countertops ceramic and slate tile shower enclosure and stainless steel /brushed nickle fixtures.

This was re-done 7 years ago the claw tub came out of a 1920 apt. bldg. in the city (SF)this is a small room we tiled with autumn slate and white accents to make it feel bigger. I'd like to eventually lighten up the color and put in a square pedestal.
