We took our powder room from drab to fab with a simple $500 makeover, including beadboard, super white trim, turquoise paint, seagrass accessories and beautiful watercolor beach paintings.

We took an extremely small, cramped bathroom and made it elegant. We opened the walls, raised the roof and added square footage.

We went from 1940's - 1950's pink and gray to a 1930's vintage bathroom. The original pedestal sink was in the basement when we purchased the house. Friends were throwing out the clawfoot and said we could take it for free. My husband sanded all the mutli-colored paint layers and primed/painted the exterior black. We didn't touch the interior. I lined the shelf with some antique and replica bottles/toiletries
