Botanical kids bathroom, My kids are getting a little older so I updated their bathroom by painting over a frog mural and making a botanical room. I attached matchstick blinds to the ceiling for texture., Bathrooms Design
French/Italian Bordello bathroom, Well, I know this is absolutely not everyone's bathroom! ha ha
I just wanted this house to be as theatrical, whimsical and out of bounds as my fun wanted to go. So... I have always loved that moulin rouge feel. What better place than where your female guests have to freshen up? Sorry guys, no offense, although the men seem to really love it. It's hard to get the real feel by photos but it's all I have. , Bathrooms Design
French Country Powder Room, This French Country powder room is 5 feet x 5 feet, with an odd angle that makes the far wall only 3.5 feet long. It is right off the foyer. It is visible from three directions, so it was important to make it stunning, yet budget friendly. Excluding the vanity, the rest of the room cost under $100., Bathrooms Design
LESS IS MORE APPROACH, Unlike the old-world basement bath in our previous house (see "Roman" bath if interested) the basement in our new house got a simple powder room. No "party" shower no sauna ... just a clean almost minimalist look. When is less more? As always thanks for visiting!
CEILING PAINT is different from the wall paint. Ceiling paint is a light silver metallic paint by Ralph Lauren (Home Depot), while walls are painted with Ben Moore Smokestack Gray. Ceiling took 5 coats but was well worth it. , Bathrooms Design
very simple bathroom, The stepped shelves behind the toilet used to be the staircase to the attic! The wall was removed and the entire bathroom was tiled in 1920's vintage style subway tiles. A pedestal sink black and white tile floor original mirrored cabinet and green accents finish the room. I've posted photos of this room before. It was time for an accent color pallet refresh., Bathrooms Design
Pink and black girls bathoom (update), This bathroom sits between my daughters' bedroom and playroom (they're 3 and 6) and is finally finished. We added the faucets and I finished the painting. , Bathrooms Design
