I like the way you used mirrors to create "windows". I like the funky, yet sophisticated feel of the room. Nice job!

I love your pretty feminine bedroom but not the beach "poster" decor. They look more family or game room friendly. Your bombe chest and other furnishings are just too formal and French for them. I think you should fill a huge glass hurricane with seashells for the bombe table and a crystal bowlfull for the other piece. Frame both sides of the bed with a verticle stack of 2-3 lovely framed watercolors of the beach and water - exchange them for your big mirrors for the season. Some beach colored pillows and something at the windows would be in tune with what you have and give you the light beachy feel you're looking for. Country Curtains has some lovely panels and valances, plus fabric, called Seascape Toile which would keep you in a French direction with drapery and add some light seaside softness this beautiful room. They also have some fun sheers called Seaside Lace. I would take them to the ceiling on a beach themed rod in an antiqued beige finish. Very "a la plage" French style!
