We were remodeling our master bathroom and closet, so we decided to rejuvenate our master bedroom as well. About a month before our other project ended, we picked out wood flooring. That way we had the flooring there ready and waiting for when we were ready to install it. When the time came to start on our bedroom, we moved all of the furniture out and pulled up the carpet and base boards. I then repainted the entire room. Then we laid the new flooring down and put up new 6" base boards. The next day, we moved our furniture back in and set up the bedroom again. The whole thing took 5 days to complete. It was a quick and easy project with amazing results. It totally transformed the look of our bedroom. Here are before and after pictures.
