You're right, I totally staged it for the pic! It does NOT look like that on a day-to-day basis, but hey, I was having fun!

I don't like a room that looks too staged. The colors are great, but does not look like a 14 yr olds bedroom. No need for so much decor on desk.

Justdoingit, I love how your desk and mirror are unified and how it all pops against the green! This is very original and charming! What about a gold lace around the mirror (almost like barb-wire painted on, to compliment the gold item on the desk?

Whoa Nelly!! This is so nice! The colors are wonderful and the pop of orange perfect. I love the mirror as it makes a statement. I hate when everything is just "so". This could be the 'mistake' in the room that's a surprise. A good one. It's scale is great and I love the large coral looking thing on the desk which compliments it in a weird way. 5 stars.

I agree with Margret... I understand that this is "rate my space" but sometimes people are so critical.. like they are trying to find something wrong! "justdoingit" obviously knows what she/he is doing! These rooms are beautifully done! When people start commenting on chair legs getting caught on rugs, and can your son really work at this desk and the mirror is bothering me...etc.... well then it's not "rate my space" it's "nit pick my space"!!!!

I never understand when something looks so nice why people suggest to change, it looks very well and hope you enjoy!
