Me and my husband are a bit eccentric. The reason i mention this is that is shows in our house and our designs, he's in the military so we travel a lot so we can't do as much as we'd like since we rent always but i try to manage to make it feel like home with our own personal touches here and there. I've always loved the combination of Black, Grey, Yellow and White so i really wanted to incorporate those colors in my bedroom. We love anime is it doesn't show in the wall scrolls we have hanging. The bedroom budget was under $400 so i thought i did a pretty well on spending and how it came out.

Peacock Dining Room, My simple peacock dining room. I've always loved all the colors the peacock has so i wanted to incorporate as many of them onto the dining room without it being to much as well. The entire project was less than $500, with a $40 dining table and and chairs which i found on craigslist or thrift stores and just to write it down so i don't have many saying it. Harry Potter Bathroom, As many i grew up with harry potter as did my husband, so as to that i wanted something different for my bathroom and decided on a Harry Potter theme. I also wanted something more adult looking as of the more kid looking rooms I've seen before, so i concentrated on the colors navy blue, gold and white with touches of black and yellow to match the gold and went along from there. With Great items i found either thrift stores or beating my brains and even eyes searching the internet for things as well. My Tiny Laundry Room, The space is very small but i always wanted a laundry space that felt as comfortable as possible and not a drag when i needed to do laundry. So i did a simple but cute space with light and some dark neutral colors, such as gray, black, white and brown. The design was under $150 since I'm also limited with the fact that i rent and not own. From brown to the purest of of white!, This armoire is a set that i bought with a dresser from walmart and it was nice until i moved and decided on having white furniture in my bedroom instead of the chocolate brown color. I didn't want to waste another $100 something dollars on a new one so i decided to give it a make over!. Neglected buffet table needed a new home and make over!, While driving back to my house i found someone trowing away this wonderful looking buffet table, so naturally i picked it up and took it home and cleaned it off. Afterwards i found out that it have a lot of scratched and was in pretty bad shape but i saw the potential it had and the fact that a buffet table costs you easily $500-1,000. I primed this sucker up and gave it a cool calm creme color which matches my coffee table perfectly and left a little of the original color to keep it's character. $40 Dresser turned into a masterpiece , Wanted a new white dresser but the one's online were way to expensive so i decided to find a working progress. And i did. I found this dirty dresser on craijslist for $40, it had stains, melted wax all over the place, the knobs were dirty old gold and the drawers didn't even open well enough. It was just a huge disaster, so i bought some new metal drawer slides and replaced the old cracked wood ones the drawers originally had, i painted the entire dresser in white and spray painted the knobs in black., Bedrooms Design

Contemporary Guest bedroom , Wanted something more traditional, contemporary for the guest bedroom so i redesigned and changed almost everything in the bedroom. Simple but with bold navy blue colors and warm brown colors.
