Instead of changing the room color, maybe changing the bedding would be more economical, and less time consuming ;. The color doesn't go with the rest of the room. Also, maybe some cream or white colored curtains would add some more flair? Also if you did change the curtains, change the bedding to match both the chocolate brown in the room, and the cream or white colored curtains. Love the bed though!

Some pretty white curtains would definitely tie the room together. It would provide a nice ethereal effect. I love how you have arranged your pictures. Perfect!

I love the wall color. It's a beautiful neutral color. In my opinion the brown curtains do not go with the color of the comforter. To me it makes it look awkward as does the top of the curtains of the window almost the exact shade of the wall. Just my two cents. There was a room in our house that was painted blue gray and it just felt so cold.

Wouldn't it be easier to get new bedding that matches vs. painting? The bedding is a bit dated looking anyway and doesn't go with the room at all.

You might pick a color out of your bedspread or go with a warm cream. The room seems a bit dark for me, but that's just me. It's a beautiful room. The draperies don't seem to go with the bedspread,
