Our master bedroom is fairly large and was painted the same beige that the builder painted the whole house, until I recently repainted it a crisp pale blue with a chocolate brown accent wall. Textiles and accessories feature brown and red pretty prominently. Furniture consists of pieces acquired over the years based on how much we liked them, not out of a desire to have everything "matchy-matchy". Though the furniture represents some different colors and styles, I've tried to gain cohesion through the red and brown accessories and textiles. Tips for further cohesion in the room would be welcome. Overall we're quite happy with how it's shaping up (:
