What a lovely room. Despite the use of some dark colors, it's still very well lit. I love the mix of pieces. This room is very regal.

Goldie, I am so thrilled you came for a visit. I appreciate your feedback, as you always give sound advice on this site, straight to the point but in a nice way. The door is a nuisance of sort but since it's the closet door, it stays closed unless we go in to change, so it works. You are right, the chaise was an impulse purchase, let's buy it first, figure out where it goes later kind of thing : THANK you for visiting!

Thanks for inviting me over for a look-see! This is gorgeous, and even though you asked me for constructive criticism, there's nothing to criticize ---- constructive or not! ;-

If you forced me, I could only find one little "irritant," and it's just one of those things you can't really help if you want something else. In other words, you sometimes have to "make do" or "live with it" if you want something really badly. The chaise is what you wanted really badly (and I don't blame you one bit. It's just a shame that there is a door right at the foot of it and that it opens back against the chaise. Again, rooms aren't always designed ideally for what we want to put in them. Just look at all the bedrooms where a chest of drawers AND a dresser have been crowded into the space, and the rooms weren't made for all that furniture. But the owners would rather "live with it" crowded than give up either piece of furniture.

So to you I say, Job Well Done! Gorgeous Master!! Enjoy!

I LOVE this room!!!!!!!! The bed is my favorite!!! Exactly what I want to do to my bedroom :
