This bedroom remodel includes new French doors to open up the space and allow outdoor access. I installed gorgeous engineered tigerwood wood flooring, new custom linens and custom espresso-stained built-in for media with pull-out and turn tray for TV as well as compartments for DVD and component storage. This room started with the green wall color which the client loved, so I used a couple more shades on accent walls to create depth and interest. The space has an entire wall of wall covering which is real hemp! This wall covering is used to create texture and break up the green. The new Roman shades are done in a delicate silk material to balance the heaviness of some of the colors in the space. The Kravet chair is covered in a textural material which is matched on the bench at the end of the bed creating repetition of texture and balance also giving the client a place to sit and put their feet up at the end of a long day. Custom lighting, new wall base, crown moulding, an updated ceiling fan and artwork finish the space. The space is a wonderful retreat for the clients who wanted a place to go at the end of the day and read, watch TV or just kick back.
