Thanks for your comments, Summerhouse. I probably won't be putting the quilt back on. It was a cheapy from Costco. I took it back. Never was happy with it. The current bedding, even though I got a great deal on it at Dillards, is quite expensive and really wouldn't look good with the cheap little quilt. I get what you're going for. Not a bad idea. I think the color scheme, and bedding are really great. I just have one suggestion-could you try putting the solid quilt back on, and try folding the floral print quilt at the foot of the bed? I can't explain exactly why, but I think it will look just a little better that way. Have fun decorating your home!

Found the matching curtains on clearance this weekend at Dillards! They were $225.00 and I got them for $65.00. Once I get them in place, I'll repost. They are gorgeous!

Dear Brooke4268 ~ Paint color? Great question. When we bought the house 3 months ago, we found 5 gallon containers of Behr paint in the basement the previous owners had left behind. Being thrifty (and liking the color I used the bucket of green in this guest room. It flowed with everything I was trying to do. However, the color mixture label on the lid has paint all over it so I have no idea what the mixture is or what the color is called. I could read that it has green, brown and yellow in the mixture, but that's it. So sorry. It is a really deep green with hues of brown. That's the best I can do.

Hey Jen - this bedding was just what the doctor ordered - only a doctor with fantastic eye for detail; brings the room together beautifully. Might I add one small detail? A seagrass (or whicker - tho they generally look a little too country waste basket. I see yours has a bin liner in it - I can't stand the thought of gum ending up in my pretty accent peice, so i place a small bowl in the bottom and dispense with the liner....if it's small you won't be able to see it unless your amost standing over it, a paper, or plastic plate would work too....I've also seen some "sheers" that would compliment your decor if you like something light and airy, these have a little more texture and weight to them - at Lowe's about $20 per panel in white or cream with a kind of stitched botanical design in the same color. Hung from a thick (1ins? diamdark - or pine - detailed rod on rings with finials of your choice (well that would be my finished version of your room. Love it regardless!

Thank you for your kind comments RMS friends. Some of the answers to your questions: 1. Yes, the room is a deep green., 2. I didn't not paint the words on the walls. It is a transfer. These kits are available on line and at stores like Target and Hobby Lobby., 3. I got the bedding at Dillards for 75% off. The brand is Rose Tree and this particular set is St. Denise. This set has been discontinued to the best of my knowledge. I looked high and low for it (I already had the Euro shams - see before pics and was trying to find the bedding. Don't recommend decorating around a pillow sham. If you Google Rose Tree, you will see their beautiful line of bedding. Warning, it's expensive! I was blessed to get my set on clearance! Happy decorating!

Love your room......can you tell me where you found the bedding? I've been looking for months for something just like this. Also, are the walls green? Hard to tell by the picture.
