        Master Bedroom with a "Coffered Canopy" Bed, Thirteen years into my marriage, my bedroom finally made it to the top of my To-do List. I had been tweaking and redesigning what I wanted to do for years. I've always loved coffered ceilings and canopy beds. I came up with this design all on my own and combined the two. I built the platform bed and mounted boards with trim on the wall. I made a "U-shaped" coffered piece for the ceiling that slid in above the wall pieces and attached to blocking on the ceiling with screws. I covered those screws with crown molding. I made the side table out of spindles from my son's old crib., Bedrooms Design
        My Blue Guest Room, This is my 'blue room'! Most of the decor came from Target. My dad and I built the headboard together. We took an old panel door, stripped it, sanded it, added crown molding and then I painted it. I also painted the dresser (it was my husband's old dresser from college) and dressed it up with new hardware. I also painted the nightstand. We just moved in and I've only had a few guests but everyone loves it so far! :), Bedrooms Design
