We where tired of seeing a TV hang on our wall that we never used, so I removed it and the lights. Then I hung real hardwood floors on the wall, reinstalled the lights and installed a fireplace. Now we have a wonderful bedroom we can relax in. See the before and after.

We took this old fireplace mantle and made a unique head board. We wrapped a piece of wood with padding and covered it with an old quilt to fill in the open spot. We also incorporated a couple lights on the headboard. The wiring was already run (as seen in the before picture). My wife and I decorated the room with things we have collected over time. The window on top of the headboard is one of the original windows from our kitchen.
well we missing the pics on the frames lol, I refinished the chest and did the head board. color used are navy, coral salmon, mustard and beige
I updated my bedroom with a black and white wallpaper and Mirror Nightstand with a touch of Yellow color.
We made this 9 ft bed for about $120. All items were thrifted or from the Restore
