My 2 yr old grandson Hart loves all things that move, so I created a transportation room at my house that is classic and will grow with him. The room was a catch all of all my school stuff so the first thing in order was to purge. The room is dark so the walls were painted Shagreen by SW and classic white trim. I realize the walls don't show up well in the pic buts this is a lovely shade of green. The furniture is espresso in color. The madras quilt, from Pottery Barn has lots of colors yet it will grow with him and he love the RR crossing lamp also from PB. Had the valances and monogrammed pillow made and still need to add a small area rug. The wall art over the book shelves came from an artist on Etsy and I framed them. Hart loves his big boy room.
