My 8 year old son wanted to upgrade from "little boy" trucks and we wanted something that would last for awhile. He is a 6th level green belt so a karate room was the perfect solution. We used paint to add impact including the Chinese symbol for dragon (his birth year) which we projected on the wall to paint (as I don't know Chinese at all!). We spent $200 at Ikea for the fun desk duvay covers curtains and the rug. The entire room cost $250 PLUS my free labor. He LOVES it! We LOVE it!
