Go Packers Go ~ Boys Packers fan room ~ Football, Green bay Packers football fan room, Boys' Rooms Design
T's Bold Navy and White Striped bedroom, When we moved into our new digs a year ago, my now almost 6 year old son was anxious to have a fun, unique room just like him since his nursery in the old house. I've had the bedding, curtains and rug for a year and didn't know how to pull it all together with furniture and paint. Last minute, I decided to try and paint navy and white stripes on his wall. It was a hit! Instead of painting all the walls striped I painted the other 3 walls a very light greyish blue color that just brightens up his small little room with 1 small window in it. To save some money, I opted to paint an old dresser we had white, and also an old nightstand. I also tried to bring pieces into the room that matched his personality and things he loves...arts and crafts, sports, music, cars. I tried my best not to have a specific theme, but it does have a nautical feel with a touch of a world traveler's vibe going on. To break up the blue and white I added some lime green ottomon's I found for him to store his crafts in at the end of the day.

The only thing not pictured is a table and chair that was mine when I was little. It sits in front of the striped wall, and it's the perfect spot for him to sit and draw and be creative.

It's not completely finished...Looking to add something on the bare wall above his bed (like framing out some of his drawings), making a headboard, and bringing in some more light into the room or by his bed for night time reading.

Thanks for taking a peek!, Boys' Rooms Design
Olivers Nautical Bedroom, The inspiration for this room came from a picture on pottery barns website about a speedboat bed. The price if the bed was ridiculous and I knew I could make one just as nice if not nicer so i set out to create the ultimate nautical boys room. The bed is hand made by me with fully functioning bow lights, lighted compass, water temp gauge, and amperes gauge. 2 walls are upholstered in stained pine 1X2 to create a yacht type feel. Grey laminate floors, all stained pine trim and hand painted door. Closet door handles are old paddles I had in the garage cleaned up and clear coated. Ceiling fan is from Hunter Fans and has actual sail cloth fan blades. The mural on the wall was designed and hand painted by me, it is the area of the St. Lawrence river in which we live. The room took several months to complete but my little man loves it and the smile it brings to his face made it all worth while...., Boys' Rooms Design
Fun and Organised Boys Playroom, The boys finally have their own playroom after moving into the new house. They have lots of toys so I needed lots of different storage. I drew inspiration from the ideas shared on this site - thank you!, Boys' Rooms Design
From baby to little boy, I wanted to give my son a room that he would like at age 3 and at age 13. I envisioned a city scape and then started rolling with the King Kong theme. This is a room and a mural in progress. I still have several planes to add to the mural. My friend Willow and I hand painted this. I would like to find some toy planes to add to the pull chain of the fan. Some people might think that this would scare a young boy, I guess you would just have to know my 3 year old, Kobe! He loves it!, Boys' Rooms Design
Transportation Theme, I wanted to give my two sons, age 3 and 2, a fun room. They both love any type of vehicles. I found a paint by numbers wall mural from Wallnutz. The road rug is perfect for them to play with their cars. The boys love it., Boys' Rooms Design
