Thank You all for the comments and feedback! I ALSO agree it's a bit top heavy. My hubby has an obsession with hating blank walls. We did happen to move the star up so it's even with the other artwork. Something we didn't even notice! I just am having an issue with the buffet! Do we add a bit more decor on top? Or leave it simple. We did add a nice white pitcher that we add flowers to throughout the spring and summer. But that's it. Any suggestions?

BarbaraBee, we didn't happen to go with the lighter pale aqua because frankly. I hate that color : Thanks for the advice though. Orange and Teal happen to be very contemporary and in right now so I am happy with the color pallet decision we made!

Striking. I would love to walk into this room. The only problem that I see with it is that it is too top heavy. You could either move the starburst down and hang on the "rail" or take down the two pictures and rest them against the wall, sitting on top of the side table. Maybe move the star altogether or if you have two of them, use them as tie backs for the curtains! Nice job over all.

You have added such a festive quality to the room. It makes me feel welcomed. I love it.

Although I'm typically a huge fan of color, I'm not loving this bright orange. I do love everything else about and in the room, however, especially the sideboard you re-did. I know your style is 'contemporary farmhouse' but those styles almost seem an oxymoron.
I think a pale aqua or pale fern green would have been prettier and easier on the eye.

SERIOUSLY beautiful! I LOVE that your wainscotting goes so high up - I have an ultra high "chair rail" in my dining room too and I always get grief for it but I think it's because I don't have any nice molding on the bottom like you do :] My only suggestion would be to lower the chandelier but other than that this is just perfect!
