The previous owners used this room as a formal living room. Our family doesn't use formal living rooms and I wanted a larger dining room.
We added: 1. wood floors that we had hand scraped and finished with a custom stain color 2. stucco wall done on accent wall for texture 3. painted and white washed the stucco 4. then painted the chevron pattern for the accent wall 5. added the barrel shade chandelier 6. had custom drapes made in my favorite trellis pattern 7. Found new DR chairs which I had re-upholstered in zebra print. The table and buffet are Very old set I found years ago. I plan to either paint them, or replace them. I still need a great 12x14 rug.
