I think you should get some plates and place-mats that are bright and add some punch and color to the table
because of the solid chairs.

LOVE this room...why clutter up the table....keep it simple...it's contemp......so forget the centerpiece...show off the beautiful wood...and the leather chairs...glad you are changing out the light...before you buy anything else...wait for the window treatments to be hung and the new light...if you still think you need something ...go for one large scale piece for the table...not a bunch of small stuff...let the things that you already have show off...the rug makes a great statement...stay away from the amber/orange glass that is already on the table...great job!!!

I take the dark centrepiece off and replace it with a clear hurrican candle with sand, maybe some shells. How about some round light colored placemats, with blue plates.

I have a similar rug in my LR! I can't tell if that is light blue or gray in the rug so maybe pull that color out for the table top since it's pretty beige & rust? Check out your local home furnishing store like Crate & Barrel or HomeGoods for table accessories like placemats, table runner, etc. but NO candle holders since I think you have that covered with the wall hangings and candlestick light fixture as well!! Did you order fabric drapery panels or just privacy blinds? I'd love to see some drapery panels to make the room complete-BEAUTIFUL!!

I really think your room is beautiful! It has a really warm and inviting feel. It looks like it is glowing! It doesn't look like it needs anything else added to it. Possibly 2 beautiful mirrors on each side of the window. That would make the space feel larger, because your dinning room is not the largest... but it works. :
