Thanks for viewing my space and giving me feedback. I like your ideas and it got me thinking...what about long sheers with some texture that have the light brown, chocolate, and some green in them?

My first thoughts were long panels on the large window (light colored fabric...maybe the color of your other wall with the elongated windows and modern clean-cut valances on the smaller elongated windows (either in the color of your large-windowed wall or a green color pulled from your accessories or elsewhere in your home. The painting of the trees, although it looks nice, seems to be out of place in a dining room. I believe a painting should convey what the person wants to feel while in that room...and IMO tall trees seem to represent obstacles or sometimes safety and shelter. I think a painting or pictures(s representing celebration, food, happiness or togetherness (family, etc would lighten the mood in the dining room and create more of a grounded purpose to the room.

People have not been very nice on my recent uploads. I am not a professional but I have never received such low ratings before. When I first starting adding photos a few years ago people would make alot of comments and rate you when they viewed a room. Now it seems people just view and don't rate or give you a low rating if your house doesn't look like a magazine or you didn't spend $1,000s on your room; the professional designers or people who used a professional get the best ratings. I love comments and constructive critics; I have even asked for advice but people just seem to ignore when someone asks for Help! Very disappointed with Rate My Space members right now.
