As for red walls idea ---just a bit to much for me, I will let my livingroom shine. I do have pillows in different colors for all seasons if that counts.

Good, but not up to par with the great room. I've seen touches of red in both rooms, so I would suggest that with all the light in this room you could go red on these walls. It is known as an "appetite" color and works well for dining rooms. If not lighted, I would have the bar in the corner lighted and would paint it. You could do it in black, or the color of your fireplace surround. Personally, if you're up to whimsey, consider the purple in the picture by the FP & front door. No matter what color you paint it do the lighted interior in red to match the walls which should be the red shade that is in your picture of the woman. Then take more purple and red to the other room in pillows, throws, and accessories.You have potential here so don't hold back and have fun with it! Let loose with more whimsey! I'm all for fun decorating!
