The Foyer / Lofty Aspirations for a Plain Jane Apartment, The former entry hall of this 50-year old apartment was drab and uninviting, with no focal point or view of a defined space. The hallway led to the living room on the left, and a guest bedroom on the right. The renovation (still in process) has been designed to open up the entire apartment to provide a loft-like environment within the inherent limits of the standard 1960's apartment layout. Entry ways - front and back , I didn't see a place to add Entry Ways. Our front entry I used my great grandmother's buffet along with some new and old items. I started collecting pocket watches and skelton keys and hung a few on the hooks. I got the dress form and apron at an auction. Back entry. I used a sharpie and gold leaf to add a couple of my favorite saying. Have a place for kids shoes and books, Porches Design
Cottage Country, This is my home in the high desert. Stucco exterior is used here most often. But I love the cottage feel so with the edition of shutters and flower boxes and a street lamp and some yard art I think I got it. I only wish I had the money to make the front patio a real porch with railing. Someday maybe., Home Exterior Design
Entry & Living Room - Orange, Brown & Green Oh My!, This are the first two spaces you see upon entering our house. Yes I might be crazy to have our dining room painted orange (SW Cayenne) but I think with all the other accents it works. Let me know if you do too!, Living Rooms Design
