We just moved into our first home a little bit ago and I can't decide on a dining room table. The foyer is open to the dining room and family room which is open to the kitchen. ...Ok I am actually in love with this table and it is a round pedestal table but I think we wood may be a little too light in color - what does everyone think? http://www.restorationhardware.com/rh/catalog/product/product.jsp?productId=prod1166125&navCount=6

Help me! I am open to all change. I want my color palet to be based around the area rug in the picture. I am planning on buying new furniture too. I need your help not only with what wall colors I should use but my space is small and I don't know how to place the furniture and what furniture we should get. There is a ledge that wraps around the room. Please Help with details! It will be greatly appreciated.
This is a very large room so I chose large furniture but I hope it's not too large. We're still waiting on the large entertainment center to come. I changed some things based on suggestions so please tell me what you think. I moved the mirror wedding photo took out corner shelf entirely and moved the photos to the bookcase and top of toy cabinet. Didn't change the furniture placement since I"m not sure yet if I want to. Still not sure if the wall with thermostat looks right to me.
I wanted our family room to be neutral with a burst of one or two colors. I fell in love with these tables from Dania first and then the rug from Pier 1 before buying the sofas/loveseat and chair. I wanted to have an urban and sleek look without it being too modern and sterile. I already know....the walls need color. your suggestions are welcomed.
We have made an upstairs loft room into a cozy family room. Trying to decide if I need to add something more to the windows. Would like to keep the while wood blinds but we do get the afternoon sun in this room.
