After new construction I have a really long way to go but your space is filling in nicely. To soften the fence backdrop add interest and color - old tennis shoes wall pockets old buckets Just fill with annuals...simple and cheap.

Hi ellen thanks for your suggestions. I do have the coreopsis but I'll definitely try the others this year. As you say a garden is always a work in progress but yours has progressed alot farther than mine! Thanks again enjoy the spring weather!

Hi countrygrl! Thank you for your nice comments on my garden. NJ you are close to me. Shasta daisy Moonbeam coreoplis blanket flower and roses bloom from June all the way up until the first frost. Thats why I loev them for their long bloom times. I'm looking for some more long blooming perennials to add. As you can see this is a work in progress. Every year I buy a couple more plants. I also dig them up and separate and move them around. Thanks again for your nice comments.

Lovely! What a beautiful garden to work and relax in. Could you suggest something to bloom in July/August? Here in NJ it seems to be a down time for most perennials...
