When we bought our house 6 years ago, there was some bare bones landscaping in front, and nothing but lawn in back. Bit by bit we have added hardscape and plantings to create a lush, peaceful environment. The most recent creation, the large perennial garden with the fountain and patio in back, is in its second year, so the plants are not yet mature.
