In your garden you've accomplished the composition of a great artist. I've long aspired to reach this kind of balance and beauty in my gardens but I haven't gotten there yet. Absolutely stunning.

your garden is absolutley incredible!! So it's taken you 10 years, I'm only 3 1/2 years into our yard (which was an overgrown forest with only rock hard clay and I have a LONG way to go. I agree... this is absolutely gorgeous. It does look like a Thomas Kincaid painting. We just moved into a house with a prolific poison ivy, privet, english ivy, and holly landscape. We have made a lot of progress... but seeing this shows we still have a long way to go! Great job!

Thanks for visiting. The garden has now seen 10 summers and is transitioning from sun to shade. The trees are really taking over. The bird house was visited by blue birds this year but they passed it by when they learned a sparrow family was already there. I was able to plant impatiens this year for the first time (after digging out all the tree roots.
