This is my daughter's playroom. The electrician still has to come back to finish up the lighting and other electrical and to put the vent covers on. The bookcase needs to be anchored to the wall too. But it's nearly finished!

My mom is knitting a circular blanket with green, pink, yellow and orange in it. It will be a rug under the table/chairs. I'll update the pic once it's done. The furniture is all from Ikea. The green baskets are from Target. The yellow paint color we had custom mixed since we couldn't find a shade that we thought would look good.

I made the tissue poms, the drapes, square and rectangular pillows, the matching "dish towel" for her kitchen, yarn letters (READ, the playroom sign. I spray painted a berry wreath pink and added the letter A to it (for her name. I spray painted vases (and other random jars and made tissue flowers for the top of the bookcase. I spray painted the outdoor planters white and turned them into stuffed animal bins. I took rain gutters and used those as bookshelves.

Lots of ideas from pinterest here!
