This should be a dreamy space for a 5 year old. I'm against characters and themes.
I fell in love with this bedding when I saw it. This is the smallest room in the house and she got it because of the huge walk in closet that is perfect for toy storage. We are adding on in a few years and she'll have a bigger room and this will become office/computer space or something.

Until then...help!

Re-did the Redo, This is my daughter's bedroom. I had posted in January about how horrible it looked when I redid it just after moving in. Small room, dark pink paint and bunk bed... became a nightmare.

This is what I've redone. I painted an accent wall, with three lighter walls. Replaced the bunk with a metal frame trundle.

I have other ideas and items to hang, and it's going to look great when I'm finished, but I'm needing some input.

There is about 2 feet of space on each side of the bed. I was thinking of going symmetrical with a corner shelf on each side of the bed.

Also, window treatments? Any ideas?

Living Room - ideas for curtains?, FIRST - sorry for the sheet on the sofa. I keep it on there to prevent little girl hands and puppy paws from getting it dirty :)

So, here's my LR. I've posted it before when I still had the previous rug, a mirror above the sofa and a lamp that was the same color as the sofa.
I had just painted this room when something got spilled on the previous sofa and the Guardsman Warranty replaced it in it's entirety. I went with a more neutral, kid-friendly fabric.
Unfortunately, my love for that color runs deep b/c I somehow chose a fabric in color I had JUST painted the LR walls.

Master Bedroom, This is our master bedroom that we ended up getting new furniture and bedding for. We repainted as well. The curtains aren't up yet, but I need some idea for what to hang above the bed. I'm clueless with the high headboard.
The curtains will be white and I'm getting a clear lamp base with white shade, so that's a lot of blue/white in that area. , Bedrooms Design

Blaire's Big Girl Room, This is my daughter's room that we did for her right before her baby sister was born (see "Natalie's custom nursery" in nurseries). The room was already painted and we thought that would be a good fit for the pink/green. I did not set out to do a pink/green room for her, b/c that's what her nursery was, but we plan to sell this house and build in spring 2011, so I knew we would only use it short term. The pink/green bedding was chosen b/c my sister had bought it from LinensNThings going-out-of-business sale and then changed her mind, so I got it for a steal.
