After moving back into our home following an 11 month renovation, we let each of our girls 12 and 16 redo thier rooms entirely on thier own. This is Erica's my 12 year olds room, her inspiration for this room was taken from the blue and green drapes.

I love that you used the white comforter and added color with the sheets and pillows instead! Great idea for being able to use the most expensive bedding for other motifs if your daughter changes her taste later! Great room!

I love it!!! especially like the leaf chair. The curtains are cool too. I love the chandelier! I would add a BLUE roll pillow in front of the bed pillows. The rest I love!!!

BEFORE and AFTER , We had a renovation/addition on our 1900 sq ft home. We added on a full second floor, extended the house onto where the old driveway was and pushed the house out in back approx 30 ft. Replaced the siding with Dryvit and stone. New space is 4600 sq ft. , Home Exterior Design

Massive great room...not finished!, I have this huge great/family room. It's about a third of the way done...here are plans the top of the celing will have a 6"-8" crown molding nothing too fancy , then there will be a second crown moulding right beneath the top windows. the area in between will have a lighther shade paint more like a slate blue. I think this will make the room cozier without comprimising the height...not sure that i wanted ceiling to floor drapes. also on the curved wall lower windows i'm thinking sheer drapery ? Room is divided into 3 sections, fireplace seating, tv area and the 3rd will be by the windows where we will put a vintage pool table. Will repost in a couple weeks...any suggestions? , Living Rooms Design

Chic Teen Room, Inspired by two little ceramic birds and my daughter's love of birds and nature. My daughter was about to enter high school and her room was in desperate need of a grown-up look. I used what we had on hand rather than spending all our money on furniture and pricey designer looking pieces. I hunted thrift stores and sales for fabric and decor. Using a lot of elbow grease and my imagination this is our result.
