When my daughter was 3 years old she requested a big girl room with pink, black, rock & roll and unicorns. It took four years of scrimping, saving and lots of elbow grease. Please tell us what you think of the design that she dreamed up and her Dad and I did our best to give her. Thank you!
This is my daycare area. I love it but would love any ideas on how to make it better too! I am doing a couple dr seuss murals on the wall, getting a sensory table and puppet theater, and getting a couch and chair to add to my reading area. I will be adding end tables and a coffee table to make it look like a living room setup and to have more seating for my kids.

This room was done on a budget, with all the decorations being handmade from low cost supplies or repurposing items we had. It's a bright and fun space for an 8 year old girl!
I wanted to give my daughters a beautiful bedroom where they could feel like little princesses. Most of my inspiration comes from Pottery Barn Kids. I have a few more things I am planning on doing to it but here is my progress thus far. I wish I would have taken before photos, but I forgot. The walls were tan and the window and all woodwork was oak. I painted the trim and wood white, the room pink, and added a lot of new artwork. I made a lot of the things in the room such as lamp, coat rack, letters. I cant wait to finish! Please let me know your thoughts.
