Peace Sign Haven, My tween girl was tired of her "baby room". She wanted a room that was fun and colorful and that she could also grow into. We also incorporated peace signs which she loved., Girls' Rooms Design
"Paris Chic" on a budget- Oh la la, Re-decorated my friends daughters room on a budget of $500. The only thing she supplied was the bed, everything else was coming out of the budget. I had to purchase: a dresser, 2 chairs, small table, bedding, decorative elements, paint & Supplies. I purchased 2 thrift store chairs for $8 each, that I painted and reupholstered to fit the theme. I also found a solid pine dresser on craigslist for $50 that I painted white and gave new hardware too. I hand painted the wooden letters that I got unpainted for $1.50 each (50% off) at Hobby Lobby. I also created 3 tulle pom poms in coordinating colors to create a whimsical feel ($10 each). The bedding I got off Walmart.com on clearance for $25 per bed-in-a-bag!!! I bought the mirror for $8, the lamp for $5, and the ceramic sculptures for $10, at a thrift store. All were given new life that added to the girly feel of the room. The rest of my decorative elements came from thrift stores and Hobby Lobby. The rest of my budget went to paint and supplies. All in all I think this room came out amazing considering the small budget I had to work with. The home owners were ecstatic, and in the end that is all that matters! :), Girls' Rooms Design

Princess Chloe's Bedroom at MiMi and PaPa's, I wanted to create a special room for my granddaughter to sleep and play in at our home. So I went with a Princess theme for the Princess that she is. I found the cutest bedroom set which happens to be called the Tiara bedroom set. Inside the frame of the headboard is a plush lavender colored material that is tufted. In the middle of each tufting is a big round rhinestone. I got all of the bedding and curtains from Pottery Barn Kids. The dollhouse bookshelf and the bookshelf to the right of the bed were custom made from a friend. I bought the wall décor from my local craft store and embellished a lot of the items with rhinestones. The butterfly artwork next to the dresser I made. I saw similar ones in a catalog for a lot more money. The finials on the curtain rods are acrylic flowers I bought for $1.25 each at the craft store. I just glued them on to the curtain rod. Similar ones cost $20-$25 at the home improvement store. I painted the tree on the wall above the dollhouse. This was a first for me. I was very pleased at the way it turned out. I love the way this room turned out, just as I pictured it in my mind. My granddaughter loves it. I hope you do too!, Girls' Rooms Design
Boys and girls? No problem!, We bought this repo mobile home and tried our best to make it home. We did everything ourselves with some help of our friends and relatives. My husband is very creative and talented. He can repair and build almost everything. So look what we did. My 3 years old princess shares this room with her baby brother, Girls' Rooms Design
