My 2 & 3 year old little girls share this magical bedroom. They love all the fairies flowers and butterflies. They spend hours jumping and trying to catch the butterflies dragonflies and fairies that are hanging from the fan ceiling and walls. The inspiration was from the Disney Fairies and they are interspersed through out the room but the hanging butterflies and dragonflies draw in your eyes more so the fairies act like they are hiding.

This little girl wanted a grown up room, but still keeping it fun for a little girl to play. The walls are hand painted not wallpaper. I focused the entire space around the new fabulous crystal chandelier. Perfect bistro set for tea time. She feels grown up, but still daddy's little girl!

Last year we put both of our daughters in the same room. I made the quilt and curtains. My daughter loved red and white polka-dots. So this is where we ended up.

Two little princesses started with a plain light gray room. With the purchase of new bunk beds & new polka dot bedding, we needed something girly to jazz up the new space. We taped off horizontal stripes to coordinate, and the attached bath uses polka dots in the coordinating colors and the same princess theme. It uses bubble gum pink, lime green, light teal/turquoise, and tan/khaki. The wall of baskets was pricey but is invaluable storage for toys and such. The whole project was kid-friendly and fun and on a budget.

With a Brother soon to be here my granddaughter wanted a big sister room. Damask, stripes, polka dots & rhinestones were the inspiration for this bedroom. I painted two shades of pink stripes on the wall one color satin finish and the other in a gloss finish. I created a scalloped border around the room with a circular sponge and filled the space in with polka dots. I used fabric patterns of black& white stripes, Black & white damask and black &white polka dots to create all the curtains and to add accents to the damask comforter. I created window cornices for the double window and one for a beautiful background for her bed. I created a vanity out of an end table with an adorable mini chandelier to accent the area. I also created a matching doll bed for her dolls which was the perfect finish for an Amazing Big Sister Bedroom.
