***I need your advice "FAUX" sure***, After viewing many of your spaces, my husband and I decided to take the plunge and faux finish our outdated oak cabinets.  We found the perfect off white paint, however we are having a difficult time with the faux finish aspect.  I like a more cleaner look (first 5 pics) and my husband likes a more distressed look (last 5 pics).  Please help, let me know your thoughts.  I would love to here your comments and advice. DIY BEFORE/AFTER KITCHEN: Glazed custom cabinets and huge butcher block island!!, Before/During/After of our kitchen in our "new" house...!  My husband and I did ALL of it by ourselves...I love being able to be honest about that...it's a great feeling :)!  Lots and lots and lots of hard work, time, money, blood, sweat and tears..(literally), but it's done!  Thank God!, Kitchens Design
Bye bye white cabinets hello new glazed cabinets, we just replaced the doors and had the cabinets painted  stained and glazed. New silestone countertops and subway tiles finish off the look, Kitchens Design
NEWLY DONE KITCHEN WITH BAY WINDOW SEAT, Lovingly painted/glazed the dark walnut cabinets refurbished the island built cushy window seat added stainless appliances and hardwood floors.  We did the work ourselves and  have created a great kitchen for our family.  Only thing not done yet is re-texturizing the ceiling - just scraped the popcorn off - what a job!
