Pitched a design to my contractor and he came through for me. Wanted to bring back some of the 1940's carector by using a cedar composite (easy to take care of), also wanted to create layers of texture, contrast and color.

The sider has a technique of creating a "J" channel with the trim, you can see this on the windows, by doing this he doesnt have to "J" channel the windows with the normal "J" channel, it gives it a nice clean look around the windows.

I still need to do some work on the fence, walkway and garage but this part of the exterior was the biggest that needed to be done. There was 5! layers of shingles on the roof. We estimated that to about 9 tons of shingles!
