I think you did a great job! I love how you repurposed so many things to make them your own. I've been wanting to try the dropcloth drapes. Yours look great! The floor to ceiling length and tone on tone color with the paint makes the space seem larger. How did you lacquer the desk top? That's really neat! Your sofa looks amazing for a CL find and how cool that it makes into a bed for guests! I guess if there was one piece of constructive criticism I could offer, it would be about the wall shelves. I love that you made them yourselves and the shelves themselves look great. I just think they are far too loaded with books. They look overwhelmed and precarious and are too visually weighty for the space. I think this could easily be fixed by reducing the number of books on each shelf and doing some creative rearranging. Is there a closet in the room where you could house the overflows? Otherwise, terrific job!
